Web.com will migrate Hotfrog’s 29 country sites to its Central Index Directory platform and expand Hotfrog’s network to 50 countries by the end of 2019 as part of a material contract signed today. Web.com will deploy the first Hotfrog country sites in March. The Central Index platform currently powers more than 600 directories globally, which combined contain around 168 million business listings.
Moboom will integrate its programmatic website solution into the Central Index platform, which will enable Web.com to sell, market and support Moboom products to the sizable Hotfrog database and Web.com’s own global network of directories and small business customers.
The first Hotfrog country to be migrated and have the programmatic solution integrated is South Africa, where Moboom recently appointed a licensed partner to represent Hotfrog. Web.com will drive the online sales and marketing processes and our South African partner Reputation Matters, will provide fulfilment services to the businesses that acquire Moboom products.
Separately, Web.com will utilise Moboom’s programmatic website solution to offer one click websites to the businesses listed in each of the 250 directories it owns. It will also negotiate with the owners of the other 350 + directories it powers to implement the programmatic solution. Moboom earns license income from sales made at commercially negotiated rates.
Web.com Senior Vice President, James Moore said “We are genuinely excited about this global partnership with Moboom.”
“Moboom has created an incredible solution that enables the rapid creation of quality web products that have a virtual zero cost of delivery.
“We have the sales and marketing reach to drive license sales to Moboom’s client base in its Hotfrog database. Given that Hotfrog will be running on the same directory platform as our own clients, we can really leverage Moboom’s programmatic solution to Web.com’s client base as well.
